Mr. West has spent over thirty-five years in the Property and Casualty Insurance Industry where he has held various positions with both insurance companies and insurance agencies.
Mr. West began his career in 1971 as a Business Salesman/Manager for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. In 1977, he was employed with Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Chicago in the Risk Management department and received various promotions to Manager Risk Management Sales St. Louis in 1983. In 1990, Mr. West joined Wetterau Inc. as President of their retail Insurance Agency. In 1992 Mr. West became a Principal of Adrian N. Baker & Co., and in 2001 joined IRM.
During his career, Mr. West's experience has included working with all aspects of the alternative marketplace for the transportation industry as well as religious and public sector clients. He has enjoyed success and traveled extensively assisting in managing insurance programs for his clients.
Mr. West is responsible for outside sales. The main thrust of this agency is to continue to provide insurance to the moving and storage industry. IRM insures movers nationwide representing all of the major van lines, many independent agents / van lines and has received the endorsement of various state moving and storage associations.
